In order to cope with the challenges that face our today’s world, we need to deal with its complexity.
In dealing with complexity, one can emphasize differences or commonalities. And both can be done in ways that are creative and energizing or in ways that evoke resistance.
The central idea of Perspectivity is to help organizations and communities to engage in inspired dialogue and self-reflective learning by co-creating creative, energizing processes of interaction.
For this, we apply a the principles of dialogue and use number of proven enablers such as bringing “the whole system in the room”, working in self-managing teams, ensuring future focus and exploring common ground. We work with “the whole brain” and strive for congruency between style, content and environment at all times.
We draw on established methodologies such as Scenario-thinking and Large Scale Interventions such as Future Search and Appreciative Inquiry.
We create awareness for human behavior in complex settings through the Perspectivity Game and, in schools, via the Perspectivity School concept.
We spread and further develop our ideas through a world-wide network, consisting for a part of people that contribute voluntarily, next to their work in all kinds of professions, and for another part of people who apply the Perspectivity ideas for a living. The network organizes regular events, training sessions, etc.
