Nightingales
The South-Limburg area in the South of the Netherlands needs revitalization as the population is ageing and young people move to other parts of the Netherlands.
A scenario-exercise in 2009 showed that completely different futures are possible. And it uncovered the fact these futures are dependent on the coherent action of all leaders in the socio-economic system.
Perspectivity was asked to help turn these insights into concrete plans and with the HIT-foundation co-created the Nightingales Dialogues.
These dialogues took the shape of a Future Search and so early November 2011, a diverse group of fifty-two leaders gathered for a two-and-a-halfday Future Search on the socio-economic development of the Southern Limburg Region.
Result: Seven inspired missions for 2020, backed up with concrete actions. Plus the energy, inspiration and connections for making them happen.
