The debrief had most students enthusiastically sharing their thoughts, considerations and opinions. Students indicated the gender balance being an important factor for a positive outcome. Others mentioned that the level of trust was crucial. A higher level of trust was believed to be reached faster when people have a common cultural/political/religious background.

Some participants thought incentives to steer behavior is needed. The aspect of moral leadership within a group was also highlighted. The professors were contributing to the debrief and linking it to the rest of the program at Cumberland Lodge. Kate Meagher pointed out the a sociological view on the process of problem solving. Robert Wade on the other hand shared his insights on tipping points and critics of the scientific climate change debate. All together, a very successful sessions with an extremely bright group of students.
