Future Search is a unique conferencing method that is applied successfully and increasingly in all parts of the world. It is a powerful concept that quickly enables an organisation to use its action potential and realize a common future plan.
Future Search is purposive, does not require expert seminars and stimulates dialogue and mutual learning as catalyst for action. The goal may be a far-reaching new policy oraction plan.
During the Future Search meeting, this is made concrete once agreement is reached on commonly shared values and goals. Finding such common ground and shared ideals and obtaining commitment is crucial. Participants build consensus on the basis of an indentifying aim and a shared appreciation for the "whole system".
